Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage is a manual therapy involving the systematic assessment and treatment of muscles, joints and connective tissue in order to improve injury management, pain and rehabilitation.

Treatments include assessment of the problem and of musculoskeletal structures that may be responsible, and treatment with physical therapy followed by post-treatment management advice. The aim is to create favourable conditions for the body to return to health after injury and to improve function in daily activities.

Remedial Massage Therapists Glenn Halls and Catherine Cenandez have specifically trained in anatomy and physiology and incorporate a variety of techniques including:

  • Trigger point therapy
  • Deep tissue massage
  • Isolated stretching
  • Myofascial release
  • Dry Needling
  • Myofascial Cupping
  • Manual lymphatic drainage
  • Exercise prescription
