Health benefits of Pilates

Jessica, our Pilates instructor, develops classes to:

Who would benefit from Pilates classes?

Pilates is a low-impact workout using the strength and resistance of your own body. The exercises can be tailored to suit anyone: from injured and “out-of-shape” people to elite athletes.

If you are injured and unsure if Pilates is suitable for you, please speak to your doctor or health practitioner. If desired, Dr Cassie, our Chiropractor, or Glenn, our Remedial Massage Therapist, can perform a thorough assessment to determine if Pilates is appropriate for you.

What should I bring?

Nothing but a smile! Taking the stress out of classes, we provide all props and equipment. You may wish to bring a small hand towel and a drink bottle to your classes.

The centre has shower and change facilities, so bring a towel and change of clothes if you would like to use these after class.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing which you can freely move in. Classes are done in bare feet or pilates non-slip socks.
